What is the expiration for dough thawed in the refrigerator?
We recommend that dough kept in the refrigerator be used up to 3 days after being thawed.

What is the expiration for dough thawed at room temperature?
Our dough can be used 12-18 hours depending on ambient room temperature.

USAGE

What is the best way to defrost your frozen dough? How long does it take?
We recommend defrosting the dough by placing in the refrigerator for about 12 hours. Keep the dough refrigerated until you are ready to use it. Tip: Cool dough releases easier from packaging

Why did you change the packaging and how do you suggest getting the dough out if the package?
The new packaging is more substantial and durable for freezer storage. Let the dough defrost and come to room temperature within the bag. To prevent losing air pockets in the developed dough, open one side and flip the bag inside out. If the dough sticks, use your fingers to gently pull the dough away from the bag.

If I knead the dough, will it rise? Can I add fast rising yeast?
Yeast is not needed for the dough to rise, it’s already mixed into the dough. Instead, make sure the dough is fully thawed and leave in the refrigerator, covered, until it rises itself. Refolding the dough may also bring back its proper shape and help add some spring to it. Still having trouble? Contact us at help@papasals.com

The dough is too springy and not relaxing, how can I get it to roll out more easily?
Let the dough rest for 10-20 minutes and make sure it’s near room temperature.

Can I re-freeze thawed dough?
No, we recommend that you do not refreeze the dough once it has been thawed.
